Help our Youth secure Bermuda's Future:

Climate Change is a pressing global issue, and as an island nation, Bermuda is on the front line of it's impacts!

Despite this, the input of Bermudian Youth on issues impacting their future is consistently underrepresented nationally and globally.

The 2023 Delegates

A dedicated group of young Bermudians who are taking necessary action.

No matter how insurmountable Climate Issues may seem, progress is possible.

It requires fierce advocacy, focused action, and a supportive platform to do so.

The Delegates enjoyed exclusive access to private networking events, educational workshops, and skill-building sessions during the YOUNGA World events in Dubai during COP28. They collaborated with a global network to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, explore innovative opportunities, and co-create solutions to pressing issues during COP28 and beyond.

Noelle Young

As a Bermuda Ocean Prosperity Programme Associate and an Aquaculture and Fisheries Consultant, Noelle Young excels in nurturing aquatic life stages using advanced recirculating systems. With global experience, including roles in South Africa and Canada, she now, as a YOUNGA Youth Delegate, drives inclusive, sustainable marine solutions.

"As Bermuda's first female YOUNGA Youth Delegate, my mission centers on driving significant change through fostering inclusion and intergenerational collaboration. I advocate for global youth equality, STEM education, sustainable farming, and ocean preservation, while promoting circular economy strategies to address food scarcity, waste, and environmental pollution."

Focused on advancing waste management, agriculture, and sustainable practices, I aim to lower living costs, improve health, and enhance quality of life in Bermuda through networking and embracing new technologies and ideas."

My work is dedicated to anticipating challenges and fostering collaborative, intergenerational efforts for a brighter, equitable future, positioning Bermudians as resilient, sustainable global leaders."

Zayne Sinclair

At only 20, Zayne Sinclair is a groundbreaking enviormental euntrepreneur with his agriculture company: Sinclair's Seed Sowing.

"I am committed to increasing sustainable practices among islanders through services based on circular business models. My goal is to champion sustainability, inspiring and motivating a cultural shift towards eco-friendly and regenerative lifestyles. As a driver of sustainable initiatives, I focus on effecting change one project at a time."

Olly Cherry is a 16 year old climate activist attending Suffield Academy (previously Somersfield). He is the youngest Bermudian delegate.

"Passionate about combating climate change, I advocate for a future where the environment is prioritised in education, policy, and media. Committed to equitable climate conversations across nations, I aim to secure our future, hold corporations accountable, and drive meaningful change, transcending political and social barriers."

Isaiah Fraser is a 17 year old youth activist, attending Berkeley Insitute.

"Fuelled by a profound love for my planet, its people, and a commitment to future generations, I champion the use of solar energy to pave a sustainable future. Dedicated to creating cleaner beaches and sustainable gardens, I advocate for solar power as a practical, environmental necessity. Young yet vocal, I stand for meaningful planetary change."
